1. Pulp Fiction


The amazingly built storyline is all that I can say about this movie, Pulp Fiction is one of those stories that gives you a thrilling experience and a sense of adventure right from your seat.

        The story is cut mainly into 2 pieces that are woven together with the uncertain event which connects the life of the characters surprisingly.

The movies begin with the two protagonists hit-men, Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, driving towards their job they have been given by their boss which is to secure a briefcase with gold.

        The third main character is a young boxing tycoon with courage in his eyes. During a match, he kills his opponent with his bare hands and is on a run for his life.

        This movie gives a taste of mystery and laughter which makes me watch this movie a couple of times.

        I think it will make you too😉.

2. Shawshank Redemption


        One of the best movies ever made in the history of Hollywood. The movie peeks into the life of a successful banker who is charged for double murder and his sent to Shawshank Prison.

        In the beginning, he faces lots of problems with his inmates but gradually grows in good friendship with a prisoner named Red.

        Further, as he spends his life in prison, he is determined to get the hell out.

        With patience, he achieves his freedom and hopes to live his life peacefully.

        By far the movie show courage, bonding, and friendship within the prison walls and the life within.

3. Shutter Island

        


        Thrilling, mysterious, and jaw-dropping, Shutter Island is one of the classic examples of surprising ends.

        The movie is about a young U.S. Marshal, who is on a case to investigate the disappearance of a patient on an island for criminally insane, the infamous SHUTTER ISLAND.

        While working on the case, he finds something suspicious about the island and he thinks the warden is deceiving him from the truth.

        At last, the truth is uncovered making him doubt his own identity.

The story is untangled with an interesting climax leading the movie into an unknown ending.

        Shutter Island might not be the best movies in terms of rotten tomato meter but it can change your decision once you watch it.

4. Parasite


        As the title gives, Parasite refers to the nature of people depicted in the movie within view of greed and class discrimination.

        Two families, one of which is a powerful, wealthy family and the other lives within the confinements of poverty. Still, they wish to live like those who are in their riches. 

        Unlike the rich family, the poor ones are street smart, which gets them working for the rich ones.

        Slowly, the whole of the poor family starts tugging for the rich family, and finally 'they become them'. 

        The last sentence might make sense when you will watch the movie and surely it will creep through your skin.

5. Predestination

        


        A man, whose fate is sealed by his own hands, choose to be one of the temporal agents, saving the lives of thousands by traveling through TIME.

        The movie revolves around the protagonist making jumps through time to prevent crimes that might happen in the future.

        In the end, he is confronted by the truth which will decide his predestination.

        The movie is a sci-fi adventure with a mystery within.

        Surprisingly well written, giving you the time of your life.

6. Inception


        A skilled thief is best at what he does, whether it be a valuable object or some information, but this thief steals people's deepest secret from their sub-consciousness when is a dream state.

        He dives into the person's mind getting every bit of information he can get. This has made him an international fugitive and his only way to redemption is his one last mission.

        To see his loved ones again and to be free of his criminal history, he has been assigned a task, not to steal an idea but to plant one.

        This remarkably directed movie with insane scenes is one of the best movies to watch.

7. Bohemian Rhapsody


        Next in the list is one of my top favorites, the crazy life of Freddy Mercury and the foot-stomping celebration of Queen, making the movie a musical journey to soothe the aching heart.

        Bohemian Rhapsody is about British band Queen and their lead singer Freddy Mercury.

        The movie depicts the life of the lead singer which goes through ups and downs as he leaps towards fame and his super successful performance at the Live-Aid.

        My heart staggered as Freddy led the crowd into shouting "Hey OOO...", I could feel the goosebumps creeping on me as I wished if I were there at the live show. 

        Since the time I had watched the movie, I have been a big fan of the band. The movie has made me cry, laughed, and fill my heart with the joy of happiness.

8. The Sixth Sense


        The Sixth Sense is a chilling psychological thriller about a child who can see ghosts and a psychologist working to solve his problem.

        The kid in the movies can see ghosts, yes, he can see ghosts. He explains to the doctor how the ghost approaches him wanting him to solve their problems.

        The movie moves forward with the boy seeing more ghostly faces, building towards an unpredictable ending.

        Overall the movie is placed in this list because of its haunting and thrilling storyline with the touch of unknownness.

9. The Wolf of Wall Street


        Based on the true-life story of Jordan Belfort, whose life goes from wealthy stockbroker to getting involved in criminal activity and fraud which led to the 1990s massive securities scam.

        While in his time of riches, he sold lots of stocks worth nothing and lived his lavish life through drugs and women.

        He was imprisoned for 22 months after getting caught for scamming people.

        This movie gives an insight into how a stockbroker can deceive people and fill his pockets.

        Funny, crazy, and adventurous life of Jordan Belfort has led many to wish for the same life.

10. Knives Out


        A crime novelist is found dead on his 85th birthday leaving his vast wealth behind. 

        His death seems suspicious when a private detective is given the case to know if his death was a suicide or a cold-blooded murder.

        The detective is on top of his class and believes everyone in the family member as a suspect.

        The movie depicts a classic Hollywood murder mystery with over the top investigation tactics.

        One could enjoy this movie at any time of the day.
